Automation is powerful, but sometimes you need a human touch. Manual Task steps pause the automation and create a To-Do item for the flow owner.

Task Types

Call Task

Creates a reminder to call the prospect.
  • Includes the prospect’s phone number and script (if configured).
  • You can log the call outcome directly in First Touch to resume the flow.

Generic Task

A custom instruction for any other action.
  • Examples: “Comment on their recent LinkedIn post,” “Send a physical gift,” or “Research their investors.”

Execution

When a prospect reaches a Manual Task step:
  1. The Flow stops for that prospect.
  2. A task appears in the Tasks page of the web app.
  3. The prospect will not move to the next step until you mark the task as Completed.
