Skip to main contentWhen you open a prospect’s profile, First Touch automatically performs Prospect Research and displays the findings in the sidebar. This research panel is designed to give you a quick but comprehensive understanding of who the prospect is and what they care about.
- Profile Summary: First Touch pulls key details from the prospect’s online profile – such as their title, company, location, work history, and education – and uses AI to generate a concise summary of the prospect. In a few sentences, you get a quick sense of who they are and why they might be a fit for your product.
- Recent Social Posts: The extension looks for any recent posts the prospect has made on LinkedIn (or other social platforms if applicable). It shows up to a few of their latest posts, each with a short AI-generated title or takeaway. This lets you quickly gauge what topics the prospect is talking about or interested in. (If no recent posts are found, the extension will indicate that there’s nothing to show in this section.)
- Podcasts or Media Mentions: First Touch also searches for any podcast appearances, interviews, or news/media mentions of the prospect or their company. If found, a couple of relevant mentions are displayed with brief summaries. This can reveal if the prospect or their company has been in the news or sharing thought leadership.
- Additional Research: Depending on the prospect, First Touch may show other insight cards (for example, funding news about their company, recent hiring trends, or technology stack information) if those are available. These insights help you tailor your conversation to the prospect’s context.
All of this information is compiled in seconds, saving you from manually researching the prospect across multiple sites. Use it to personalize your outreach – reference a recent post or congratulate them on a company milestone, for example.
