How it Works
The Researcher acts as a data fetcher that fuels your email personalization.Define the Question
You set a specific question for the agent to answer.
- Default: Uses the “Key Prospect Question” defined in your Knowledge Base.
- Custom: You can override this with a specific question for a particular flow (e.g., “What is a unique detail about this prospect’s background?”).
Autonomous Search
The agent searches online sources and your internal databases to find the answer. It might find a recent achievement, a detail from their bio, or a specific quote.
Personalization Injection
The answer is fed into the subsequent Email Generation steps. This ensures every email touches on a personally relevant point without you having to manually Google each person.
Configuration & Limits
Flow Customization
While it defaults to your Knowledge Base settings, you can customize the research question per flow to target specific campaigns.
Usage Limits
Typically, only one Researcher step is allowed per flow branch. You generally run this once at the start to gather context for the entire sequence.
