- Restart your AI assistant app after editing the setup.
- Confirm FirstTouch is enabled in the app.
- Check that the connection URL is correct.
- Make sure you used the MCP server URL shown in your FirstTouch workspace.

- Make sure you approve the FirstTouch connection when prompted.
- Confirm you approved the correct FirstTouch team workspace.

- Confirm your FirstTouch user is a team owner or admin.
- Ask the assistant: “Show my current FirstTouch permissions.”
- Review the flow validation errors returned by FirstTouch.
- Remember that publishing activates a flow, but does not automatically enroll awaiting contacts.

- Confirm your team has available FirstTouch credits.
- Ask the assistant to show your current credit balance and feature costs.
- For discovery, preview a small result first and confirm the maximum credit spend before loading more.
- Remember that MCP cost fields are FirstTouch credits, not USD prices.

- Confirm Social Engagement is unlocked for your team.
- Ask the assistant to show your Social Engagement config and monitored profile counts.
- Make sure the monitored profile is active and not suspended or auto-deactivated.
- If Social Engagement is disabled, ask the assistant to enable it or add the monitored profile with collection enabled.
- Publish the linked Social Engagement flow before expecting captured engagers to enter it.
- Polling is asynchronous. If a profile was just added, wait before expecting captured engagers.

- Ask for the email send queue when checking submitted or scheduled email sends.
- If an email is not in the send queue, ask the assistant to inspect the enrollment, approval tasks, sender account, and recipient email.
- If a LinkedIn action is blocked, ask for review-required or diagnostic LinkedIn queue details.
The assistant picked the wrong workflow type
The assistant picked the wrong workflow type
- For one named contact, ask for a Dynamic Action.
- If you already know the email, LinkedIn URL, or phone number, include it directly.
- For a list, segment, filter, HubSpot list, Sales Navigator search, or multiple contacts, ask for an Audience and Flow Plan.
- If you name an existing flow, ask the assistant to enroll contacts into that flow.
