The User settings tab (the default view at /settings) lets you update your personal details and control how the AI writes on your behalf.
These fields are used by the AI when composing introductions and email signatures.
| Field | Description |
|---|
| First Name / Last Name | Your name as it should appear in outreach. |
| Company | The name of the company you represent. |
| Company URL | Your company’s primary website URL. |
Changing Company URL does not update your Knowledge Base. The URL change is saved to your profile only. If you have moved companies or need to refresh your AI context, update the fields in the Knowledge base tab separately. Contact support if you need help migrating.
Writing Style
Writing Style settings tell the AI how to craft messages on your behalf. All three preference groups and the custom prompt work together.
Writing Length
Controls the overall verbosity of generated messages.
| Option | When to use |
|---|
| Concise | Targeting executives or decision-makers with limited time. Gets straight to the point. |
| Standard (default) | Regular business communications where clarity matters but some detail is appropriate. |
| Detailed | Technical explanations, thorough proposals, or situations requiring comprehensive information. |
Writing Tone
Controls the register and energy of the language.
| Option | When to use |
|---|
| Professional | Formal communications, proposals, and official documents. Conveys expertise and reliability. |
| Casual (default) | Everyday sales communications. Friendly and approachable. |
| Lively | Situations where you want to energise and engage your audience. |
PS Preference
Controls whether the AI adds a personalised postscript to emails.
| Option | Behaviour |
|---|
| Always | Adds a PS to every email for a consistent personal touch. |
| Sometimes | Adds a PS when it naturally strengthens the message. |
| Never (default) | No PS — suited to formal or purely informational communications. |
Custom Style Prompt
An optional free-text description of anything else that defines your writing style (max 300 words).
Example: “I prefer short sentences. I avoid jargon and always end with a clear single call to action.”
The AI incorporates this alongside the option selections above.
Set your global Writing Style once and the AI will apply it to every draft. You can still adjust individual messages afterwards if needed.
