> ## Agent Instructions
> For API operations, fetch https://gateway.firsttouch.ai/api/public/openapi.json for the complete input/output schemas, internal references, and x-mcp-annotations. Endpoint Markdown intentionally omits generated schema fragments. Select /api/public/tools/<tool_name> using the exact underscore-separated name. Send requests to https://gateway.firsttouch.ai; the canonical document currently omits servers. Start at https://docs.firsttouch.com/api-reference/agent-start.md.

# Write Social Engagement Config

> Enables or disables FirstTouch Social Engagement for the current team.

<details>

Detailed usage guidance

Requires team owner/admin access.

Use this as the backup/follow-up enablement tool when enableSocialEngagement was not used during profile add.

Enabling can start collecting engagers before the linked Social Engagement flow is published; publish the linked flow before expecting collected engagers to enter it.

Do not use it as the first step for a listen-to-likes request.

Use socialEngagement.flowPlan from manage_social_engagement_monitored_profile as the normal linked-flow source.

This mirrors the UI: it only changes linkedin_engagement.is_enabled and preserves the existing linked Social Engagement flow plan; it reads existing config internally and never accepts or changes a flowPlanId.

Enabling requires paid non-trial Social Engagement access.
