# Manage Social Engagement Monitored Profile

> Adds, activates, deactivates, or deletes one Social Engagement monitored LinkedIn profile or company page for the current team.

<li>Requires team owner/admin access.</li>
<li>Use action=add with linkedinUrl as the first write when the user asks to listen to or monitor a person&#39;s LinkedIn post likes/comments or a company page&#39;s LinkedIn post likes/comments.</li>
<li>For requests like monitor this profile or company page and send connection requests to everyone who engaged, add the monitored target first and then follow the response nextSteps.</li>
<li>Set enableSocialEngagement=true when the user wants to start collecting engagers in the same tool; collected engagers wait until the linked Social Engagement flow is published before entering it.</li>
<li>The response includes socialEngagement.flowPlan for the existing linked flow to inspect/edit/publish, so a separate get_social_engagement_config call is only needed when current state may have changed.</li>
<li>Use write_social_engagement_config as the backup/follow-up enablement tool.</li>
<li>Use activate/deactivate/delete with profileId from list_social_engagement_monitored_profiles.</li>
<li>Adding or activating requires paid non-trial Social Engagement access.</li>
