# Get Social Engagement Signal

> Requires the admin team role or global admin access. Check get_current_user.toolAccess before calling.

<li>Returns one Social Engagement signal&#39;s enabled/unlocked state, fixed tracking mode, linked Flow Plan, and profile counts scoped to that signal.</li>
<li>Requires team owner/admin access and an explicit signalId from list_social_engagement_signals.</li>
<li>Profile mutation tools already return socialEngagement.flowPlan and socialEngagement.signal.</li>
<li>Adding a monitored profile does not require this tool.</li>
<li>May initialize missing default signal configuration; it does not relink the signal flow.</li>
