# Cancel Awaiting Flow Items

> Cancel selected Awaiting candidates from an existing flow without canceling active enrollment queue items.

**Usage notes**

- First call get_flow_workspace for the flow, then pass exact awaiting.items[].candidate_id values; ids look like enrollment_candidate_*.
- At least one candidate id is required, so this tool never interprets omitted ids as cancel all.
- Do not use this for the read-only MCP Dynamic Actions flow plan.
