# Security

> Change your First Touch account password.

The **Security** tab (at `/settings/security`) lets you update the password on your First Touch account.

## Change Your Password

Fill in the three fields and click **Change Password**.

| Field                         | Notes                                                                                                       |
| ----------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Current password**          | Your existing password. If you signed up with Google and have never set a password, leave this field blank. |
| **New password**              | Your chosen new password. Must meet the minimum strength requirements.                                      |
| **New password confirmation** | Re-enter the new password to confirm.                                                                       |

## Forgot Your Password?

Click the **I forgot my password** link beneath the Change Password button. You will be taken to the password-reset flow where you can request a reset email. Your current session remains active while you do this.
