# Flow Enrollments

> Review Awaiting, In progress, Issues, Disqualified, cancellation, and re-enrollment behavior.

A Flow Enrollment is one prospect's instance of moving through a Flow Plan.

## Enrollment Views

Flow Builder can show several enrollment views.

| View         | What it means                                                                                                          |
| ------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Awaiting | Contacts or signal events are waiting before enrollment starts. |
| In progress | Flow Enrollments are actively moving through the Flow Plan. |
| Issues | Flow Enrollments that failed and need attention. Open requirements do not appear here merely because they are waiting. |
| Disqualified | The Flow Plan logic disqualified the prospect before continuing. |
| Completed | The Flow Enrollment ended normally. |
| Canceled | The Flow Enrollment was stopped manually or by another stop condition. |

## Awaiting Contacts And Signals

Awaiting items have not started the Flow Enrollment yet. This can happen when:

* the Flow Plan uses Manual Mode
* a CSV or HubSpot source needs review
* a signal event waits for explicit enrollment
* a contact needs validation before starting

Publishing a Manual Mode Flow Plan does not automatically enroll awaiting items. Select the items you want to enroll from the Flow Plan details.

## Enrollment Modes

| Mode            | Behavior                                                                                                                               |
| --------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Manual | Eligible contacts and signals remain in **Awaiting** until you enroll selected items or enroll in bulk. |
| Auto-enroll new | Only source members added after the mode's cutoff are enrolled automatically. Existing awaiting items stay awaiting. |
| Auto-enroll all | Eligible existing, awaiting, and future source members enroll automatically. Confirm this change when awaiting contacts already exist. |

Enrollment mode can be changed only on a published Flow Plan. **Auto-enroll new** is not available for Sales Navigator sources. CSV sources present the same behavior as a simpler **Manual mode** or **Auto-enroll mode** choice. **Auto-enroll all** stays unavailable until FirstTouch can load the awaiting count.

## In-Progress Enrollments

In-progress enrollments follow the Flow Plan version captured when the prospect entered. Edits to a Flow Plan generally affect new enrollments after the edited draft is published.

## Issues

The **Issues** view contains failed Flow Enrollments. Failures can be caused by:

* missing email, phone, or LinkedIn URL
* missing or disconnected sender account
* exclusion match
* provider or action failure
* invalid Flow Plan configuration

Open the enrollment details to see the failure. Pending approvals and other Awaiting Requirements remain in their task, Activity, or LinkedIn Outreach Queue state rather than becoming an Issue.

## Cancel A Flow Enrollment

Flow Enrollment Cancellation stops selected in-progress enrollments from producing future outreach actions. It does not delete the Flow Plan, delete the prospect, or retract completed outreach.

For bulk cancellation, select multiple in-progress enrollments in the same Flow Plan and confirm the cancellation action.

## Re-Enroll

Use **Re-enroll** after resolving a failed or disqualified enrollment. Re-enrollment creates a new enrollment request that starts at the beginning of the currently live Flow Plan; it does not resume from the failed action or reuse the older saved plan version.

Before re-enrolling, confirm:

* required contact and company identity is present
* sender accounts are connected and ready
* required credits are available
* exclusion conflicts are resolved
* the Flow Plan is live and reflects the sequence you want to run now

The previous enrollment remains in history and links to the retry, so retry history is preserved. FirstTouch validates the request before starting it and warns when the contact may receive duplicate outreach. A contact already active in the same Flow Plan must finish or be canceled before another retry can start.
