# Billing, Plans, and Credits

> Understand billing access, subscription controls, credits, top-ups, and plan changes.

Billing is scoped to your Active Team. Use the Billing page to review your plan, credit balance, usage, purchase history, and subscription settings.

<Note>
  Billing access belongs to your membership in the Active Team. Team Admins normally receive billing access automatically; Members do not.
</Note>

## What Billing Shows

The Billing page can include these tabs:

* **Plans:** current plan, sender capacity, subscription credits, and plan controls.
* **Usage:** current credit balance and recent usage.
* **Transactions:** credit transactions and credit consumption history.
* **Purchase History:** purchase and charge records. Open the subscription portal to view or download invoices.

If your Team Membership does not have billing access, FirstTouch shows an access-denied screen instead of the Billing page. Ask a Team Admin for help.

## Credits

FirstTouch credits are used by billable actions such as enrichment and AI-powered operations. Exact credit usage depends on your plan, current billing configuration, and the action being performed.

<Tip>
  Use the Billing page as the source of truth for your Team's current credit balance and available purchases.
</Tip>

## Credit Top-Ups

Paid teams can buy additional credits from Billing when top-ups are available. Top-ups add credits to the Team balance and do not change your plan unless the checkout explicitly says so.

If a billable outreach step is waiting because credits are unavailable, adding credits can allow eligible billable work to resume. Completed actions are not replayed automatically.

## Plan And Seat Changes

Team Admins can manage subscription controls when the plan supports self-service changes.

Common plan controls can include:

* starting a trial when the Team is eligible
* upgrading from a free or trial plan
* changing sender seat quantity
* changing monthly subscription credit add-ons
* opening the billing portal for payment and invoice management

Some teams are on manually managed plans. If plan controls are read-only, contact FirstTouch support or sales.

## Cancellation And Paid-To-Free Changes

Canceling or downgrading changes future plan access. It does not delete historical activity, audiences, or Flow Plans.

When a Team moves out of paid or trial access, plan-gated features can stop accepting new work, billable steps can wait, and connected sender availability may change. Review active Flow Enrollments, Activities, Tasks, and the LinkedIn Outreach Queue before assuming all existing work has stopped.

## Who Can Manage Billing

| User                              | Billing behavior                                                         |
| --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Team Admin with billing access | Can open Billing and manage available subscription controls. |
| Team Admin without billing access | Cannot open Billing until another authorized Team Admin restores access. |
| Member | Cannot open Billing or manage subscription controls. |

Billing access is separate from **Sender (paid)**. A user can have permission to send outreach without permission to manage billing.
